More than that, Outlook.com is receiving a revamped Mail section that looks different. In the coming weeks, the new Mail interface will come to all users with its updated UI and added features. Among them is Skype integration after Microsoft re-introduced the service to Outlook.com in January. Performance will be quicker and add-ins can be added to Outlook easier. Users will be able to integrate services like Evernote, PayPal, and more in a more efficient way. Also coming to the Mail experience are new tools for filtering emails and categorizing. As for the Outlook Calendar, users will still have to access this through the beta build. That’s as easy as simply switching the toggle to beta. Microsoft is still working to a full build, but some new features are inbound. For example, a new interface that the company describes as more responsive.
People will also remain a part of the beta experience and gets quicker access to favored contacts. Additionally, users will be able to edit, create, and view their contacts more easily. Microsoft is also debuting the new profile card that it has already added to its other services. People will also support photo management with a new control feature.
