One, the Nokia 6, was known already. However, VentureBeat reports that a further two Android smartphones and a classic handset are yet to come. Sources familiar with the matter report that the Nokia 3, 5, and a new 3310 will be announced at the World Mobile Congress this month. Alongside them will be the general release of the Nokia 6, currently exclusive to China. The Nokia 6 sports a full HD 5.5″ display, alongside a Snapdragon 430, 4GB of RAM, and a 16-megapixel camera.

Nokia 5 Specs and Pricing

It’s smaller cousin won’t be quite so powerful, if the rumors are correct. The Nokia 5 will have a 5.2″ 720p display, 2 GB of RAM, and a 12 MP back camera. Of course, this translates to a drop in price. The source only had figures in Euros, but says the initial price will be €199 ($210) for the Nokia 5, and €249 ($263) for the 6. The entry-level Nokia 3 will be around €149 ($157), though no specs were forthcoming.

A Return to Legacy

Perhaps more of a surprise is HMD global’s ode to the classic Nokias. Building on the success of the 3310, HMD will re-launch the phone for a modern audience. It will feature the same solid body and battery life, reinvented for a modern audience. VentureBeat reports a price of €59, which, while expensive, may be enough to tempt nostalgic owners. More details will become available at MWC on February 26th, though the target will be the European market. Whatever the case, its great to see the Nokia brand picking up again after it’s failure under Microsoft. Only time will tell if HMD Global’s phone with be up to par with the brand’s past.
